Bangladeshi journalist injured in Malaysia by accident

The hiking tour was organized on Sunday, November 8 by the Bangladeshi Students Union Malaysia (BSUM), the largest organization of Bangladeshi students residing in Malaysia.

Kanching Falls in Rawang, about 40 km from Kuala Lumpur city, was designated for hiking. About 75 students from 30-35 universities participated in the tour. Vice President, Daily Observer and New Horizons Malaysia Representative Md. Ashraful Mamun was sent.

On the way to the tour, Mamun was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident at 4 pm Malaysia time. He was rushed to Selayang Hospital by ambulance. From there he was sent to Malaya University Hospital. After treatment, Mamun was taken home at 12 o’clock at night.

Upon receiving the news of the accident, the well-wishers expressed their sorrow over the search and wished a speedy recovery.

On the other hand, on the instructions of Bangladesh High Commissioner to Malaysia Golam Sarwar went to his house on Tuesday afternoon to see the High Commission’s welfare assistants Mukched Ali and Kashem Mamun. Ahmadul Kabir, senior co-president of the press club and Ariful Islam, information and research secretary were present at the time.
