After five years, Gerua Shibir wants to continue with the same bet.

According to opinion polls, former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party could be the main opposition party from 119 to 125 seats. Former chief minister Mayawati’s Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) could win 26 to 32 seats. And in Uttar Pradesh, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, who have announced to vote without alliance, can get five to eight seats.

Opposition is trying to corner Yogi Adityanath’s government with the deteriorating law and order situation in Corona. Even then, the poll shows that more than 50 per cent people in the state want Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Minister.
