Mr. Seko strongly protests South Korea

Liberal Democratic Party Secretary-General Hiroshige Seko said at a press conference on the 17th that a Korean state-owned company was cautioned in the field sea area regarding the allegations that it conducted an oceanographic survey in Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) around Takeshima, Shimane Prefecture.

He called for a strict response to the Japanese government, which remained aroused. “I think it’s okay to protest strongly diplomatically,” he said.

He criticized the Korean side’s actions as “resolutely unacceptable.” Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi emphasized that it was a move on the 9th to 10th during his visit to South Korea to attend the inauguration ceremony of South Korean President Yoon Seok-you.
