The 25-day winter session begins this morning. At the beginning, the slogan started in the parliament about the controversial agricultural law. As a result, the Speaker was forced to adjourn the session.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar introduced a bill in Parliament to repeal the Agriculture Act. The ruling BJP and the opposition Congress have asked all members of their respective parties to be present in today’s session of Parliament on the occasion of the introduction of the bill.

According to NDTV, in the face of opposition protests, a bill (repeal of agricultural law) was passed in the Lok Sabha in the fastest time in recent years. There was no discussion in the parliament about the bill.

In Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said his government was ready to answer all questions from the opposition. Even if there is any opposition to the government or the policy of the government, the status of the chair of the parliament and the speaker should be kept high.

The Indian government had called an all-party meeting on Sunday before the winter session. An all-party meeting was called yesterday on the first day of the session to raise a bill to repeal the Agriculture Act.

Although representatives of the country’s political parties were present at yesterday’s meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not present. As a result, the opposition criticized Modi for calling the meeting and absent. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh walked out of the meeting alleging that he was not allowed to speak.

Indian farmers have been protesting for a year and a half demanding repeal of three controversial agricultural laws. Admitting to the movement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 19 announced the repeal of all three laws. He announced this decision in his address to the nation.
